Hey Friends and neighbors, Im home! So happy, and tired!
Heres a pic of a "POOJA" or "prayer" that the company I was doing the work for over there had done for the machine the day I was commisioning it. Its done by a Hindu Priest and his apprentices. Its different, apparently, whenever you buy a car, or a machine or anything of that nature, this is done, it took about a half hour, and there is another that will be done when the machine enters production that is quite elaborate. Hmmmm........

Well, here it is, May21, Friday, and Im actually able to sleep now, yay, too bad Im leaving Tuesday! Well, not too bad, but, well, you know what I mean. The work here has been quite successfull on my end, and im looking forward to getting home for some R+R and even more TLC. Ill post tons of pics when i get home fer yer viewing pleasure!

Well, here it is 3:37 AM India time, and i cant sleep to save my life. I think Ill go close my eys for an hour before my wake up call. by the time i can sleep through the night, itll be time to come home!

Well, here I am stuck in Chicago, Ive been here before, but never downtown. Today I spent several hours at a starbucks in the heart of downtown, I didnt know how really nice it is here. I was pleasantly suprised! And my compliments to all the folks working at the Indian Consulate, who are very friendly and happily gave me a Visa on what I felt was rather short notice. Now if I survive the 17 or so hours I have to spend on the same plane tomorrow to get to Bangalore, I will be happy as can be. Anyone who knows how many times this trip has been delayed knows that I just really want to get there and get started with my work! Oh Well, Im crossing my fingers, everyone wish me luck one more time! Later..........

Well, in a little less than an hour, I'll be heading off to India, Bangalore to be exact. Before you ask, Im going there on buisness, but I intaend to have a bit of fun also. I got lucky enough to be put up in one of the finest resorts in Bangalore..(which is, by the way, the Silicon valley of India!)
Look for a complete review on my return, which is scheduled for May 23rd. The weather there is beautiful at the present time!

So I took all these online tests, as you can see. I agree with the grunge thing, but i havent got a clue about the others. I guess Ill have to read the damn book now. and see who the hell Morpeus is. I guess its cool, seeing as Im a Matrix fan.

So, like back in Feb I get this letter from the BMV here in Indiana, telling me that I have accrued too many points against my liscence in the past year, and must take a drivers defense course, or lose my liscence! well, now, let me see, got a speeding ticket in Ohio back in December, but thats it. Aww, they just have me mixed up with someone else, Ill straighten it out, no problem.

It took me 6 weeks to get ahold of these a**wipes on the phone, then, when I do, they get mouthy with me like its some how my fault that they got their heads up eachothers asses. needless to say i was pissed, and wanted to do some serious Chow Yun Fat action to those brainless twitts. But Im a peaceful man, I did the only thing a self respecting man could do. I called my wife and bitched to her about it. Luckily, shes an understanding person, and quietly informed me whom I was speaking to.
So, I came to the conclusion that Id have to take the damn online course that was gonna cost me a cool $39.90. Oh, and 4 straight hours of reading drivers education crap on my computer screen. and taking quizes at the end of each chapter. What a test of patience. BUT I GOT IT DONE!! I showed the man whos boss! he is. Got my eye on you Focker. lol Oh well, its over, now I just have to verify, from India, that the damn BMV gets the confirmation of my successfull completion of the program before the 18th, what could possibly go wrong? (insert evil laughter now)

Oh, by the way, did I happen to mention that I have to spend a total of 19 hrs, on the same damn plane on my trip to India later this week? I dont even get to get off of it at my two layovers, just sit there and quietly suffer, in coach. Can I get some sympathy here people?

So, anyone agree? Today, I will be having a family viewing of either "Princess Mononke" or "Spirited Away" my vote is for Spirited Away.
Someday Ill finish the "Legend of the Dog Warriors" but its so dry. I was thinking of putting it up on e-bay, I got the entire set. 03 discs, 13 episodes. Ill finish watching it first though. Thinking about collecting the Ranma series, can any otaku out there believe that I waited several years into my anime addiction before i started watching it? Im crazy, I know, oh well. :roll:
