Ok, was reminiscing about past acid trips today, which is strange since I havent dropped in like 5 years. Is truly the only drug I miss. I dont even think it should be classified as a drug, but thats just me. Im gonna post more later.

New Pornographers [edit]
Hey folks. Not a whole lot going on this eve. just watchin the screen savers and getting ready for bed. Had a good day.
I got a new Album, The New Pornographers, Electric Version. Its so far and away from what I normally listen to. Im a grunge/metal kinda guy. Since Im a little older (34) I like alot of old school metal, like Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, etc, etc. However, Ive noticed that the music I listen to directly effects my mood, and since Ive been feeling crappy lately, Ive made a coscience effort to listen to happier music. The New Pronographers and Metric really fill the bill, totally power pop! dont tell the crew back home, Ill lose my standing. I do really like the new album though, creative, catchy, smart. I recommend it to everyone!

Wedsndays, hmphhh.....I can be in such a good mood, then, in less than one little minute, it can go down the crapper. I really shouldnt let people do that to me. LOL.

Well got my itinerary today. Seems that I am leaving next Thursday, 26 hrs of travel there, 30 hrs of travel back. Bleh!

So, I spent the day sitting at the hospital while my wifeepoo got an outpatient procedure done. (dont worry, not life threatning) Im here to tell you people, Hospitals are boring, boring places.
Oh well, caught up on some reading, got some quality people watching time in. The book Im reading is the third in the Thomas Covenent, Unbeliever series, "The Power that Preserves" Im enjoying it, its a pretty dark story. Reminds me of some of Frank Herberts writings. (You know, the "Dune" guy.)
Boss called and told me Im getting scheduled to leave for India a week from this Thursday, well, since Ive been scheduled to leave since the begininng of March, Ill believe it when Im holding the plane ticket in my paws.

I survived! [edit]
Okay, the Salmon Patties were survivable, although, I wouldnt consider myself a convert, and Im not fond of the smell that is lingering in my home! nevertheless, I survived.

Salmon Patties [edit]
When I was a child, my Mother used to cook very odd food for us to eat. (To my mind) Things like Tuna Casserole, This weird pork , STUFF (My sister informs me that it was called scalloped pork), that is difficult to explain, and other various oddities.
Anyways, she also made Salmon patties, this consists of salmon, mixed with bread crumbs, and eggs, and other stuff. Well, here it is, 20 odd years later, and Im gonna try Salmon Patties again. Judging by the smell, Im dubious. So, wish me luck, and Ill post a summary of the experiance later on today!
